TOKYO DRAGONS To Record New Album In October

August 11, 2006

TOKYO DRAGONS, who have been touring in Europe since their last U.K. appearances in April with DANKO JONES (excluding their by now almost customary Friday night headline at the Tapestry Goes West Festival),are set to release a specially priced EP of material, entitled "Come on Baby EP" on October 24 via Escapi Music. The EP compiles together the unavailable tracks — including huge live favorite "High on Hate" from the band's Island singles with live recordings from their triumphant Hultsfred Festival show this June, plus the "Come on Baby" video. The full track listing is as follows:

01. Come on Baby (album version†)
02. High on Hate (non-album track)
03. Everybody That's Right (non-album track)
04. This Means War (non-album track)
05. Get 'Em Off (live)*
06. Johnny Don't Wanna Ride (live)*
07. Come on Baby (live)*
08. Come on Baby (video)

†Taken from the album "Give Me the Fear"
*Recorded at the Hultsfred Festival, Sweden June 16, 2006

The package also includes a special double-sided poster of the "Give Me the Fear" artwork by acclaimed cartoon artist Chris Weston (2000AD, DC Comics, "Judge Dredd", "Swamp Thing", etc.) who collaborated with the band on all their releases' artwork to date, and sleeve notes from lead singer Steve Lomax. The band has also announced they have just signed a new three-album deal with Escapi Music and are set to head over to the States in October to record their new opus with Kurt Bloch (NASHVILLE PUSSY, SUPERSUCKERS). Expect to hear the results in early 2007.
